VIRGINIA BEACH - Leila F. Saunders, 97, of Westminster-Canterbury, died March 4, 2002, at her residence.
A native of Conway, S.C., she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Norfolk. She was the widow of Loyd Saunders.
Mrs. Saunders is survived by her son, George W. Fee and his wife, Frances, of Temple Terrace, Fla.; three granddaughters, Pamela Oneal and Margaret Nixon of Fort Myers, Fla., and Leila Helms of Charlotte, N.C.; a grandson, Gary Fee of Albenton, Mont.; four great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; and a daughter-in-law, Louise Fee of Charlotte, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with the Chaplain Allen Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
