Blanche Genevieve Thames (1923-1944), wife of Gilbert L. Thames Sr., son 0f Mr. and Mrs. xxx Thames, died Monday, 5 Jun 1944, 2 p.m. with a heart attack at her home in Tampa.
She is survived by her husband and three children, Mary Lou, Paul Stephens and William Claude, the latter a xxx year old.
Surviving also are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dumm and three sisters, Renabeth, 17, and two small sisters. Burial was made Thursday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa.
The funeral was attended by Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Thames of this city. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Friday, 9 Jun 1944.)
