Vera F. Green

Payson-Vera D. Francom Green, 80, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 1977 in Provo.

She was born April 4, 1897 in Spanish Fork, the daughter of Robert and Margaret Evans Dudley. She married James H. Francom April 29, 1920 in Benjamin. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Aug. 26, 1925. He died March 7, 1960. She then married James Edwin Green, Nov. 19, 1962. He died Dec. 28, 1972.

She was educated in Benjamin and Spanish Fork schools, and was an active member of the LDS church. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher for 45 years and was active in church music. She was a gold star mother and active in the navy mothers.

She was also active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Peteetneet camp and also in the Black Hawk Association.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Payson Tenth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Walker Mortuary in Payson Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.

Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
