A J Brant, aged 89 years, died at his home on Bedford Street. He was a Union Veteran a member of the 7th PA VOL, fighting at Antietam, Bull Run, Chancelorsville, Gettysburg, and Wilderness, where he was wounded. He is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters; Peter; Leonard; Theodore; and D H Brant of Cumberland; and Grant Brant of Mt Savage; and Mrs Victoria Stein; Mrs Amanda Hickle and Mrs Jessie Forbeck of Cumberland. Burial is to be made in the Wilson Cemetery on the Bedford Road. (The Wilson Cemetery is now named "Zion Park Cemetery" Thanks to those that informed me of this!)
