OBITUARY OF WILLIAM HERMAN HINZE OXFORD STANFORD OXFORD, NEB MAR 26, 1953

William Herman Hinze, son of William and Minnie Hinze, was born near Oxford on Nov. 5, 1891 and passed away at Holdrege, Nebr., on March 20, 1953 at the age of 61 years, 4 mo and 15 days. In his youth he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.

He was united in marriage to Miss Gladys Amack of Oxford May 30, 1921. To this union 3 children were born. He spent most of his life in and around Oxford and served his country in WWI. Mr. Hinze was a kind and understanding husband, good provider of the material things. A loving and helpful father to his children. He had a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren and children of the neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Henry. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, one daughter, Lucile Butner of Long Island, Kansas, Arnold and Darrell of Oxford, 16 grandchildren, a son Lloyd of Paxton of a previous marriage. Two brothers, Carl of Oxford and Ernest of Bird City, Kansas. Four sisters, Mrs. Ida Lanz of Omaha, Mrs. Laura Schleusener, Havelock, Iowa, Mrs Ottilie Schroeder of Nerb, City. Mrs. Minnie Kahle, Deshler, Nieces etc. Funeral services were from Mitchell Funeral home Oxford March 23, 1953.
