Sterling E. Sotdorus, 75, Marion, went home to be in the heavenly arms of his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, December 9, 2010, with his wife and brother at his side. He was born in Lineboro, Maryland to the late Maurice and Hilda (Cape) Sotdorus. He married Marolyn Sue Joseph on October 16, 1993.
Sterling was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 135 for 36 years and was employed with Hiway Dispatch for 24 ½ years. He was a member of Bethel Worship Center and past president of the Neighborhood (Stonecrest) Watch Assoc. Sterling won awards for his yard work, flowers and Christmas Villages. He was a NASCAR/Jeff Gordon fan.
