Funeral services were held last Saturday at Redley (Reedley), Calif, for Albert E. Conrad, 72, who succumbed there on Wednesday of last week. Mr. Conrad, who was a native of this county, was born February 28, 1875. He went to California in 1898 and purchased land in Kings River Valley, where he was a fruit grower for almost fifty years. He was preceded in death five years ago by his wife the former Miss Otila Oster, also a native of this county. He is survived by three sons, T. A. Conrad of Maderis, Calif,; Pearl Conrad of Redley, Calif,; and Paul Conrad, Venezuela, South America, a representative of Standard Oil Co.; two daughters, Mrs. Alene Wold, San Francisco and Mrs. Norman Lyers, Maderla, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Wolters, Jackson, Mo.; Mrs. Herschell Jennings, Desloge, Mo.; two brothers, Julius Conrad of Lixville, Mo. and George Conrad of Temps, Fla.
