Irving E. Davis, 85, of Flower Mound passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010. Irving was born October 22, 1925, in Dallas to Irving and Mattie Davis.

He graduated with a BBA in Accounting from SMU and was a Certified Public Accountant. He worked for Sedco Inc. for 30 years and retired as VP of Tax Accounting.

Irving was a resident of Flower Mound and member of Garden Ridge Church of Christ for 38 years, a member of the Greater Lewisville YMCA for 15 years and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Irving also served our country with the United States Marine Corps, serving 13 months in Korea.

Irving is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary F. Davis; daughters, Denise Woods, Karen Shuman and Lisa Culhane and grandchildren, Daniel Hoffman, Bailey Woods and Taylor Shuman.

Irving was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Asa Davis and sisters, Sophia Curb and Donna Lynch.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the Garden Ridge Church of Christ, 102 N. Garden Ridge Blvd., Lewisville, Texas 75067. A private interment will follow.
