Mr. Olson was born May 27, 1925, in Kindred, where he attended high school. He served from 1943 to 1946 in the military during World War II. On Nov. 16, 1946, he married Alpha Haugen in Moorhead. He worked for Rustads and IHC Dealership for more than 40 years in the parts department.
He is survived by his wife; a sister, Ruth (Ray) Carlson, Adams, Wis.; and one grandchild.
Visitation: Tonight from 5 to 7, with a prayer service at 7, in Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred.
Funeral: Friday at 1 in Kindred Lutheran Church.
Burial: Kindred Cemetery
