Helen Rotharr Bramble's obituary reads, "Helen Elethea (Rothaar) Bramble Nov. 12, 1911-Sept. 16, 2008 Helen Elethea (Rothaar) Bramble, 96, of Mt. Pleasant, gracious lady, loving wife, sister, aunt, stepmother, step grandmother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment of ashes will be held in the Barryville Cemetery in Hastings at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 206 W. Maple Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI. Envelopes will be available at the church and Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Helen was born on November 12, 1911, in Nashville, MI, the daughter of Earl and Mae (Seward) Rothaar. She married Jack C. Bramble on September 4, 1948, in Dearborn, MI. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1988. Helen worked as a social worker for the State of Michigan for 25 years. Helen is survived by her sister, Constance Smith of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law, Robert Meade of Ohio; stepson, Skip (Rachel) Bramble of Kalamazoo, Judy (Tim) Featherstone of Florida, Mark Bramble of Kalamazoo; and nieces and nephews, Thomas (Ellie) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Chris Fransted of St. Johns, Melissa (Matt) Faye of Colorado, Dan (Libby) Smith of Traverse City, Sid (Judy) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Staci (Andrew) Feinberg of Illinois, Steve Smith of Mt. Pleasant, John (Mary Pat) Meade of Ohio, Sara Meade of Ohio, Susan Clark of Connecticut, Libby Clark of Connecticut, David Clark of Connecticut, Shannon (Hernan) Clark Prohaszka of Florida, Julie (Bill) Hubbs of Mt. Morris, Kevin Hubbs of Grand Blanc, Jason (Carla) Hubbs of Allendale and Judy Seibert of Minnesota, Jeff (Kelly) Siebert of Minnesota, Jennifer (Dean) Hager of Minnesota and Pat Siebert of Minnesota. She thought of them as her grandchildren and rarely missed a birthday or special occasion. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Virginia (Lou) Seibert and Joyce Meade and nephew, Pete Seibert. Helen will be remembered for her beautiful flower gardens, which included prize-winning roses. Her extended family and friends will cherish Helen's memory.
