Eakly Rites Held For Lee
Funeral services for Emerson Artie Lee, 82, long-time resident of the Eakly community, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at the Eakly United Methodist church. Interment was in the Eakly cemetery.
Lee was born March 20, 1889 in Woreb, MO., and moved with his parents at an early age.
He was married to the former Rosa Klusmeyer in August 1910, who preceded him in death. In July 1956, he was married to the former Edith Salyer.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dessie Clark of Chickasha and Mrs. Wilburn Edens of Sentinel; three brothers, Lawrence of Clinton, Clark of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Cecil of Colony; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-daughters and two step-sons.
