Patrick worked for Midwest Refrigeration and was a member of Pipefitters Local #597. He graduated from Merrillville High School in 1974.
Preceded in death by parents: Virgil and Betty Wardell.
Survived by wife, Eileen; one son, Nicholas (Fiancee, Casey) Wardell of Merrillville, IN; one daughter, April (Sergio) Olague, also of Merrillville, IN; three brothers: Paul Wardell of Florida, Charlie (Cheryl) Wardell of Arizona, Virgil Wardell of Valparaiso, IN; four sisters: Susan (Russell) Stone of Tennessee, Theresa Larkin of Portage, IN, Kathleen Barton of Ft. Wayne, IN, Liz Wardell (Joann) of Tinley Park, IL; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 6:00 p.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, Fr. Andrew J. Corona officiating. Cremation will follow the service. At rest in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, In.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. till time of service at 6:00 p.m.
