OBITUARY:
Mrs. Sherry Lynn Stagner, age 54, of Smyrna, TN, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Merced, California and was the daughter of the late Margaret Currington Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Stagner; father, Orville Smith of Nashville; two children, Chris Stagner of Illinois and Catherine Stagner of Smyrna; brothers, David Smith, Darrell Smith, Andrew Smith of Nashville and Gerald Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Dr. Susan Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
Mrs. Stagner was preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Michelle Stagner and a sister, Linda Morrell. Mrs. Stagner was an employee of the Smyrna Police Department as a dispatcher. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Stagner may be made to the Smyrna Police Dept. Drug Fund, 315 S. Lowry St., Smyrna, Tn. 37167. Honor Guard and Pallbearers will be members of the Smyrna Police Dept.
