Judy K. Amon, 62, Netawaka, KS passed away November 16, 2004, at Holton Community Hospital.

She was born December 10, 1941, in Holton, KS the daughter of Edward and Marjorie Anderson Meyle.

Mrs. Amon spent all her life in Netawaka. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm. She also worked at Hammels Clothing and Shelter Insurance in Horton. She recently retired from Westside Family Practice, Holton, where she worked for 13 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran's Ladies Aid Association.

She married Wayne Amon on Nov. 22, 1959, in Netawaka. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Marjorie Parker, Holton; three sons, Dennis Amon, Whiting, KS, Randy Amon and wife Tanya, Whiting, and Richard Amon, Beach Island, SC; a daughter, Debbie Butler and husband Chad, Wichita, KS; twelve grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Tollefson and Connie Meyle; and a granddaughter, Nicole Amon.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Netawaka. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
