SERVICES FOR MRS STUBBS ARE SUNDAY
She Was Oldest Member of Presbyterian Church; Had Suffered Hip Fracture.
Mrs Ernest P (Cora Stella) Stubbs, died at 8 o'clock Thursday evening at the Chillicothe hospital. Mrs Stubbs had been a patient at the hospital five weeks and two days after having suffered a hip fracture.
Mrs Stubbs was born September 25, 1876, in Carroll County, a daughter of Henry C Butts and Orpha (Johnson) Butts.
She attended Carroll County rural schools and the Avalon Presbyterian College. She has been a resident of Chillicothe since 1892. She was the oldest member of the First Presbyterian church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Royal Neighbors.
In September, 1912, she married Dr Stubbs in Chillicothe.
She is survived by her husband of the home at 325 Dickinson street, and a sister, Miss Lucille Butts. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Butts.
Memorial services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home. Reverend William Lindblom and Reverend Walter L Bingham will conduct the services.
Burial will be in Edgewood cemetery. The casket will be closed at 1:55 o'clock and will not be reopened.

Funeral services for Mrs Cora Stubbs were held at 2 pm Sunday at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home with the Reverend William Lindlom officiating, assisted by the Reverend Walter L Binghan.
Organ selections were played by Mrs Jean Cox.
Pallbearers were Jack Updyke, Harry Cole, Earl Rager, Wallace Volk, E M Roberts, and Dan Christian. Interment was in Edgewood cemetery.
