Born in Akron, he was a Medina resident for 43 years. He was a member of the Ohio State Patrol Auxiliary, the Medina Eagles and the American Legion Post 202. Mr. Cruse was a food processor at Farm Packt Pickles in Medina for 11 years and a WWII Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette G.; one daughter, Linda Cleckner of Medina; nieces and nephews; and two brothers, William of Chippewa Lake and Earl of Belen, N. M.
Funeral services will be Frida at the Waite & Son Memorial Home, Medina, the Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
