JACOB B. ALEXANDER, Private, Co. G, 12th SC Infantry. He was born 25 April 1835 in Salem, SC. He was married 18 Oct. 1860 to Charlotte Lucinda Hall. He was wounded on 1 July 1863 at Gettysburg, Pa. He was captured and paroled at Falling Waters, Md. on 14 July 1863. He was again captured in Gordon Co., Ga. in June 1864. No further record. He died on 13 Feb. 1917 and is buried at the Alexander Cemetery in Salem, SC.
