Sarah Rebecca Waite was the daughter of Lemuel H. Waite and Rebecca Cisne/Cessna. According to her death certificate she was born in Sardis Monroe Co OH in 1838 and died in Lee Twp Monroe Co OH. She was first married to George Monroe Martin and they had seven children (six are known). After George passed away 30 May 1882, she married a Nathaniel Henderson on 8 Jan 1885 in Tyler Co WV. No children were born of this marriage. Nathaniel Henderson passed away 15 Aug 1912 in Tyler Co WV. She then married a George Fagert 16 Jul 1921 in Middlebourne Tyler Co WV. On their marriage record found on wvculture.org, Sarah is listed as Mrs. Sarah R. Henderson and she states that she is 77 years of age and that she was born in Monroe Co OH and she lists her parents as Lemuel Waite and Rebecca Waite nee Sisney. Sarah's age is different on many documents, the only clue as to her real age is the 1900 census that states she was born in August 1844 and the 1850 census where she is in the household of her father, Lemuel Wait, aged 10.
