Father of Chemistry Bureau Expert to be buried in Maryland

James K Sudler, aged 62 years of 1105 New Hampshire Avenue northwest, father of Dr Oden R Sudler, field expert for the bureau of chemistry, Department of Agriculture, died at his home late Thursday night. Mr.Sudler recently recovered from typhoid fever. On Sunday night last he suffered from a paralytic stroke which resulted in his death

Mr. Sudler was a native of Queen Anne County, Maryland.About 35 years ago he moved to this city, where he since had made his home.For many years he conducted a drug store at Fifth and H street northwest, and retired from active business about 3 years ago.Shortly before coming to Washington Mr Sudler married Miss Julia Rochester of Queen Anne County, by whom he is survived. He is also survived by his son.

Burial will be at Sudlersville, Md. On Sunday. The body will be taken to that place this afternoon. Sudlersville was founded by Mr Sudler's ancestors, who were among the first settlers of Maryland.
