Olive Pearl Tennant, 84, of Fairview, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1918, at Plum Run, the daughter of the late Simon R. and Maggie M. (Parker) Fluharty.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosella and Bob Tennant, and Louella and Chuck Woods, all of Fairview. Two sons and two daughters-in-law also survive, Dale and Nina Haught, and Ancil and Trish Haught, all of Barrackville. Three brothers and two sisters-in-law survive, Joseph Fluharty, of Plum Run; Clinton and Marie Fluharty, of Plum Run; Jim and Linda Fluharty, of Mannington. Three sisters and one brother-in-law also survive, Nola Santee, Iva Tuttle, and Clara and Howard "Huck" Haught, all of Fairview. Sixteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ralph "Jake" Haught, and her second husband, Herbert W. Tennant; one son, Donald Eugene Haught; one granddaughter, Ronda Lou Loar; one great-grandson, Bruce Taylor Wilson; four brothers, Lloyd, Kester, Millard, Elery Fluharty. One sister is also deceased, Georgie Potts.

Friends may call at Dominco Funeral Home, Curry Chapel, Fairview from 1-9 p.m. on Sunday and 1-3 p.m. on Monday. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at the funeral home, with Pastor Louise Tennant officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
