Teunis Bieshaar died at the home of his brother-in-law, John Weyers, 313 Franklin street, at 5:00 a. m. Saturday, March 11, 1916, aged 36 years 10 months, and 10 days. Mr. Bieshaar had been in poor health for more than a year and was recently operated on for appendicitis. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. T. Bieshaar Sr., three brothers, and five sisters. His mother, brothers and sisters all live in Mahaska county near Leighton and Oskaloosa. Funeral services were held at the Weyers home on Monday at 12:30 p.m. and at the M. E., church at one o'clock. Interment was at Oakwood cemetery. -Pella Chronicle, March 16, 1916
