Mrs. Peter P. Mehrle is dead at Huntington, W. Va. She was a well known woman of Kent, living here for a long period. Her home was on Stow St. and her husband was superintendent of the Seneca Chain Co.

She was born in Kent 77 years ago. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Adams, well remembered pioneers of Kent.She became the wife of Peter P. Mehrle and was a highly respected woman of Kent. She was active in the church and its organizations, serving the Catholic church in various ways, ways that were always appreciated. She helped in the school and was a splendid worker among the youth of the school and the church.They went to Huntington 17 years ago where he took a position in the chain shop there and was in a position in which he won recognition as an expert in the chain business.Mrs. Mehrle leaves three brothers Gus and Silas of Kent, and Ed Jr., of Huntington.Burial was made at Huntington.
