Mrs. Craghead Dies
At Amarillo, Texas, Thursday Mrs. E. L. Craghead died after a long illness. The body was brought to Caddo Sunday and buried in Caddo Cemetery Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The funeral was held in the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. M. A. Cassidy, former pastor of the church and close friend of the family.
The funeral was largely attended and floral offerings attested the high esteem in which Mrs. Craghead was held.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Slack, and spent her young womanhood in Caddo. She was married ten years ago to Elmer L. Craghead. One child, Ruth Jane, aged five, came to their home.
Mrs. Craghead long suffered from an incurable malady and about a year ago they moved west in the hope of improving her health. All that human love and human skill could do was done to save the life of this splendid young woman.
Through it all she bore her affliction uncomplainingly. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church which she joined in early youth.
The entire community sympathizes with the family in their great grief.

Slack, and son, Clarence, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Choate, all of Atoka; Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Hall of Durant.
