John S. Beal was born son of Henry John Beal and Nellie N.Beal, (maiden name unknown). The father also was known as John Henry Beal. Records indicate John was born in Minnesota in 1913. He had a brother Thomas Beal. The family moved to Montana. John's father was a farmer, and a blacksmith, machinest. Later John S. Beal moved to Spokane, Washington. John enlisted in the United States Army, in 1941. John's father later moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. He had married Ida Francis Peal Alexander Beal, 2 nd wife I do not know much of John's mother Nellie. Ida Francis was stepmother to John S. and Ida was my great Aunt. I have researched John S. Beal through his father Henry, and step mother Ida. I have found that John S. had married and was father to 3 sons and 2 daughters. John S. Beal died on May 5, 1985, and was laid to rest in Hawthorne Cemetary, Josephine County, Grants Pass, Oregon. John's father Henry J. (John) Beal and Ida, (stepmother) Beal are laid to rest near him.
I did not find John S. Beal's memorial or information in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens, on Find A Grave. But I do know he is buried there, so I am creating this memorial for him...Two years ago I took a photo of his cemetary stone for history records. Perhaps someone in his family, will see this information and add to this memorial, for John.
