Her parents, James and Anna Graybill, and her twin sister, Zena Walters (Graybill), preceded her to glory.
She is now survived by one sister, Ellen Spahni (Graybill),(now gone too) her sons Ramond Jr. and David, her daughter Caroline Devine, and a host of neices and nephews who all adored her.
A devoted wife for 43 1/2 years to Raymond Sr, and loving mother to her children, she often gave up things for herself to provide for them all.
She was a 'spendthrift', often making sure all the bills were paid before anything else was.
She loved her flowers. She would clip starters off anyone's plants and try to grow them. She was successful most of the time. Her favorite flower was the Iris, which is what she ultimately ended up with in her garden.
Besides looking after her family, Zella loved doing arts and crafts. She must have delved into every one out there, entering shows and contests with some of them. I think her favorite one was ceramics with a close second going to her decorated eggs.
Zella lived a simple but loving life. She was strongly devoted to her family who still loves her to this day.
Her only granddaughter, Carrie Watson-Devine, was the last of her grandchildren she saw. The day she went into the hospital for a heart bypass, I was able to take Carrie up to see her at the hospital. It was Carrie's first birthday and those two played from about 6:00 PM until way after midnight.
Zella is sorely missed and always will be.
