Kathaleen was born on March 2, 1937 in Okemah, OK to C.C. Glasco and Lorena Harrison Glasco. She attended school in Okemah and in June of 1953 she married A.D. Nixon in Okemah, OK. She owned and operated Alice's Ark in Stillwater from 1978 to 1991, at which time she sold the business to her son Terry Nixon and his wife Tammy.
She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, a step-son David Ray Nixon, grandson Brandon Nixon and her sister Maudie Cummings.
Surviving her are her four sons; Allan Nixon and his wife Diane of Stillwater, Glen Nixon of Stillwater, Larry Nixon and wife Karen of Ponca City, Terry Nixon and wife Tammy of Stillwater and her daughter Lisa Nixon Murrell also of Stillwater. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Kathaleen is survived by six sisters: Dorothy Cox, Okemah, OK; Mary Nichols, Okemah,; Brenda Gray, Cement,OK; Joyce Cottrell, Fletcher,OK; Kay Rosson,Muskogee, OK; Judy Lackey, Marland, OK.
In leiu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Judith Karmen Hospice, 915 S. Main Street, Stillwater, Ok 74074.
