HIRAM ELLENGER McKAY
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 28, at 10:30 a.m. in the Lounsburry(sic)-Musgrove Funeral Chapel, Eugene for Hiram Ellenger McKay of Eugene who died November 26, 1973. He was born January 22, 1886 in Croswell, Michigan and had been a Eugene resident since 1912. He is survived by his wife, Lillie H., and children, Miles of Eugene, Kenneth of Cottage Grove and Dean of Junction City, Mrs. Roy Malos of Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Ted Fraedrick, Medford. He was step-father of Wayne Hayes, Eugene; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Etta in 1943, and a daughter Villa Prairie in 1939. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Willagillespie Grange. Rev. Owen Douglas officiated. Concluding services were in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
