Mrs. Brantley Services Held At Kingsley

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Naomi Brantley, 77, of Starke were held Wednesday at the Church of God here and burial followed at the family plot in Kingsley Lake Cemetery.
Mrs. Brantley, the widow of Christopher C. Brantley, died here Sunday following an extended illness. She was born in Laurens County, Georgia in 1886 and was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Ruth Coleman and Mrs. Alice Coleman of Starke, Mrs. Pearl Starling of Ocala and Mrs. Virginia Purdee of Crescent City. Five sons; Jordon L. and Joseph of Starke, Charlie B. of St. Augustine, John of Key West and Byron of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Also surviving Mrs. Brantley are 38 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Rev L.S. Williams, pastor of the Church of God here, officiated the services and burial was under the direction of DeWitt C. Jones Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were J.R. Kirkland, L.R. Starling, Fred Smith, Kenny Scarboro, Larry Devrick and Laurie McKinney.
