Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church for Allie May Hutchins, who died Thursday. She was 96. The Rev. Gary Fine is to conduct the service and burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Hutchins was born Oct. 16, 1892 in Anadarka, Okla. She married the late Wade T. Hutchins March 21, 1915, in Electra, Texas. The couple lived in Clovis for a time before moving to Carlsbad in 1932. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by five sons, Hubert Hutchins and Robert Hutchins of San Diego, Calif., Thomas B. Hutchins of Carlsbad, John Hutchins of Henderson, Nev., and Paul Hutchins of Sacramento, N.M.; three daughters, Pat Whilidin of Pahoa, Hawaii, Esther Koster of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Betty DeAnda of Carlsbad; 40 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Tuesday's service are to be Leo Estrada, Richard Asbury, Jimmy Pryor, Curtis Hutchins, Tony Hutchins, Robbie Hutchins and Joe Garrett.
