Margaret C. Shura, 89, of Altoona, died Fri., Dec. 17, 2010 at Bellemeade Manor. She was born in Altoona to Ludwig & Caroline Leipold. She was twice married, first to Joseph Lechner, who died Jan. 20, 1977. She married Stanley A. Shura in 1981 and he died Feb. 16, 2005. Survived by sister, Rosella Greiner, of Altoona; nieces & nephews; step children: William Weiland & wife, Jeanne; Desmond Shura; Walter Shura & wife, Carol; Stanley Shura & wife, Anna Marie; Cynthia Smith & husband, Michael; Donald Shura & wife, Cecilia, and Joseph Shura & fiancee, Connie Thompson; 12 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Predeceased by 12 siblings. Member, Holy Rosary Catholic Church; Bavarian Aid Society and previously employed at SafTBak and then became a homemaker. Margaret enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with nieces & nephews. Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. Interment, Blair Memorial Park.
