William J. Lade, 87, of 181 Chestnut St., died at 3:30 a.m. today at
St. Agnes Hospital following several months illness.
Mr. Lade was born Oct. 14, 1880, in Campbellsport, the son of August and Magdalene Walters Lade. He was married on Oct. 5, 1922, in Fond du Lac. Mr. Lade served with the 32nd Division of the United States Army in France and Germany in World War I. He had been employed by the Soo Line Railroad and Quicfrez Inc. until retirement. He was a member of the Church of Peace.
Mr. Lade is survived by his widow, Dorothy. He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. Friday at the Candlish Chapel until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the Church of Peace until the 1:30 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Martin Koehler and Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
