Janet A. (Boll) Gallagher, of Dallastown, died December 17, 2010. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Gallagher, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Born April 4, 1925, in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of the late George V. and Mary T. (Hufnagle) Boll.

Mrs. Gallagher was a loving and dedicated homemaker for her husband and family. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dallastown and sometimes attended mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York. She loved spending time with her family, often as a group talking over coffee.

She enjoyed playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, reading, 50's music, cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, and handiwork.

Mrs. Gallagher is survived by five children, Rachel P. Martin and husband, Roland of Lebanon, Regina M. Irvin and husband, Paul of Red Lion, Joseph J. Gallagher and wife, Melissa of Nashville, TN, Damian P. Gallagher and wife, Marybeth of York, and Bridget C. Gallagher of York; four grandchildren, Nicole Irvin, Taylor Gallagher, Damian P. Gallagher, and Joseph J. Gallagher, Jr.; one brother, Clair H. Boll of Somerset, MA; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joseph A. Gallagher; a grandson, Wayne A. Godfrey; four brothers, George F., Paul C., John C., and Baby Boy Boll; and three sisters, Louise R. Higgins, Elizabeth H. Schulte, and Frances R. Lutter.

Interment: Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
