She was a daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Rowlands Bruckner. Also deceased are siblings Gladys Snedeker, Joseph Bruckner, Mary Ann Snedeker, Wallace Bruckner, Beatrice Bruckner, Wilbert Bruckner and Carl Bruckner.
Dee was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School and a 1953 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse for 36 years.
In the mid-1960s, she and her family moved to Southern California where they lived until retirement. She and her husband chose to retire in the Great Smoky Mountains of TN.
