Preston Ray Madison, 3, of Smiths Grove, died May 30, 2010, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.

The Warren County native loved SpongeBob, Spider-Man and riding his motorcycle and four-wheeler, playing with his Wii and many other things. He parents so graciously made him a hero by donating his organs to help three other children. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Jerry Crews.

Funeral is at 3 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove chapel, with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions for the funeral fund to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, 3098 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101, or the memorial fund at any U.S. Bank.

Survivors include his loving parents, Jamie Madison and Whitney Crews, of Smiths Grove; maternal grandparents, Michael and Kim Crews, of Glasgow; paternal grandparents, Robin Madison and Dwayne Basham, of Smiths Grove, and Larry and April Madison, of Bowling Green; maternal great-grandparents, Joyce Carlson, of Bowling Green, Carlos Wilson, of Smiths Grove, and Norma Dodson, of Glasgow; paternal great-grandparents, Garland and Barbara Foust, of Lake City, Tenn., and James and Patty Madison, of Smiths Grove; four uncles, Spencer Crews, Shane Madison, Larry Madison and Chase Madison; four aunts, Larah Madison, Chelsie Lundy, Caleigh Lundy and Lindsey Sledge; a cousin, Braxton Madison; and his very special friend since birth, Aubrey Elkins.
