"Golden Wedding Is Celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Aber"
"Came to Bath Ten Years Ago"
Mr. and Mrs. Hilan Aber celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home in this village last Sunday with a family dinner, the happy occasion being graced by the presence of a large company of relatives. The bride and groom of fifty years received numerous tokens of high esteem, and started upon the road to their diamond wedding with showers of good wishes.
Mr. and Mrs. Aber for many years were residents of Bradford, engaged in farming for many years. But in 1926 they came to Bath where they have made their home and many new friends. Mrs. Aber was formerly Cora Rapalee, a daughter of one of Bradfords pioneers, Erastus Rapalee. Mr. and Mrs. Aber were married December 1, 1885, by Rev. John Knapp of Prattsburg.
To add to the happiness of the celebration last Sunday there were present Ralph Aber, of Moravla and their daughter, Mrs. Jonathan Woodhouse, of Bath, with fourteen grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.
