Curtis C. Jarrett, 79, of Leaming Avenue NW, Castle Rock, died March 18, 1994, at a local nursing home. He was born September 3, 1914, at Riggins, Idaho, the son of Christopher C. and Anna Jarrett.
He worked as a logger in the logging/lumber industry. He lived in Cowlitz County since 1944, coming from Portland, Oregon. He was a member of the Castle Rock Christian Church.
Jarrett is survived by his wife, Oleva O. Jarrett of Castle Rock; daughters, Christine Jarrett and Melissa West, both of Longview, and Candy Olson of Castle Rock; a son, Richard Jarrett of San Francisco, Calif.; a foster-daughter, Carol Campbell of Port Angeles; a brother, Lloyd Jarrett of Seattle; five grandchildren; two great-grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2 p.m., at Castle Rock Christian Church with Pastor Ed Miller officiating. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hubbard Funeral Home.
