OBITUARY
29 July 1934
Ruhama L. Holcomb was born in Hendrix, County, Indiana, December 28, 1871. She moved to Douglas, Kansas with her parents when she was a small child. She was united in marriage to Daniel R. Holcomb; August 1, 1900 at Eldorado, Kansas. In November of 1901 they moved to their present farm west of Minco. Mrs. Holcomb had been in poor health the past two years and was taken to the Chickasha hospital July 23, 1934' and remained there until Jul 27th 1934, when she was moved to the home of J.T. in Minco, and departed this life July 29, 1934 at the age of 62 years, 7 months and one day.
She leaves to mourn her loss three children, one son , Daniel R. South, Sioux City, Nebraska; Mrs. Mildred Burrowns, Wetumka, and Beulah Holcomb, Cogar; one brother J.T. Land, DeBeque, Colorado, and several grandchildren besides a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.E.B. Snoddy, of Fletcher, assisted by E. Wilson of Cogar, and J.J. McDaniel of Hazel Dell, at Cogar, Oklahoma Wednesday, August 1st, Burial was made at Hazel dell.
