Felix T. Morneau, 72 year old native of the Rice Lake area, died Thursday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Monday morning in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church in Dobie, with Rev. John Kauer officiating, and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Morneau was born Jan. 24, 1885, in Rice Lake, the son of Telesphore and Demerise Morneau. He farmed for many years in the Dobie area after his marriage on Sept. 25, 1919, to Emma Karis; who died Feb. 7, 1944. For the past eight months he had made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Snyder, in Spooner.
Also surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Cecily Lofblad and Mrs. Shirley Pitzrick of Rice Lake; a sister, Mrs. Anton Frolik of Rice Lake; two brothers, Fred of Prairie Farm and Arsen of Minneapolis, and two grandchildren.
