Springfield - Annette A. (Berthiaume) Husson, 88, of Springfield passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in East Longmeadow. Her husband David Husson, Sr., and her parents Edmond and Amelia Berthiaume predeceased her. Annette was born in Holyoke on February 28, 1919 and was a graduate of Mt. Carmel School in the Williamansett section of Chicopee . She worked in Boston as a seamstress and also worked for L.L. Strick Manufacturing of Holyoke. Annette also worked at Dave's Restaurant in Springfield and she and her husband later owned and operated Mae's Motel in Agawam. She and her husband retired and moved to Springfield. Annette was active in music and Vaudeville for many years and enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband David. She leaves a stepson, David Husson, Jr. of Springfield, a godchild Joan Fountain of Springfield and two sister-in-laws Alice Manferdini of Springfield and Elizabeth Husson of East Longmeadow. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service Friday morning at 11 in Tazzini Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery , Chicopee . A calling hour will precede the prayer service from 10-11. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The Ronald McDonald House, 34 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107.
