GRAND HAVEN - Mrs. Pauline Osner, 84, of 229 South Buchanan St., Spring Lake, died Saturday afternoon at Phillips Convalescent Home in Spring Lake after a five month Illness.
She was born in Germany and came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph [sic Andrew] Pytlinski when she was a year old and settled in Robinson Township. Her first husband, Otto Giraud, died in 1937 and her second husband, William Osner Sr., died in 1943. She had lived in Spring Lake for 20 years. She attended Spring Lake Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Emma Smith of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Laura Dansveldt [sic Dransfeldt] of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Howard Spencer of Spring Lake; two sons, David Giraud of Spring Lake and George Giraud of Chicago; two brothers, Felix and Leo Pytlinski, and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine David [sic Davis] and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones of Grand Haven township; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. William Osner Jr. of the Ottawa County Road Commission is a stepson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Barbier Funeral Home in Spring Lake with the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Robinson township cemetery.
