Ada A. Cooke, 100, of Springfield died Saturday at Regency Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 23, 1895, in Pittsfield, the daughter of August and Minnie Schroeder Huseman. She married Olin Cooke; he died in 1951.
Mrs. Cooke retired from the state of Illinois in 1965. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors: a son, William R. Cooke of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Graveside services at Oak Ridge Cemetery, with Dr. Roger Rominger officiating.
