Mrs. Parker came to Jesup from Gray S.C. (via Savannah) in 1921. She was one of the founding members of the Jesup Presbyterian Church - a stain glass window honors her memory located in the front of this church.
Mrs. Paker, after a brief illness, passed of natural causes after enjoying a long and happy life in 1982.
As a note, her son-in-law, Paul Eugene Pribble, (my Father and husband of Sarah (Rachel) Parker Pribble, (Lula's daughter and my Mother), currently donates much time and effort in maintaining the cemetery, as Commissioner, even in his late 80's.
