Services for Mrs. Della Dozier Kirby, 93, Tyler, are set for 2 p.m. Friday in Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral chapel in Tyler with the Rev. Elwood Dozier officiating.
Burial will be in Harris Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirby was born Dec 23, 1889 in Forney and was an 83-year resident of Smith County. She was a housewife and a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, W. E. Kirby and J. D Kirby Jr, both of Tyler; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Taliaferro, Tyler, and Mrs. Joyce Christian, Minden, La.; a brother Otto Dozier, Lindale; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great childchild.
Pallbearers will be Rex Kirby, Monroe Kirby, Elton Kirby, Randall Kirby, Dickie Kirby, William Taliaferro, Cecil Taliaferro and James Christian.
