Lois Alexander Tujetsch

Lois Alexander Tujetsch, 83, formerly of Union City, died peacefully, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center surrounded by family and close friends. She was born on October 29, 1927 in Clymer, N.Y., the daughter of the late Clara Doolittle Hanes and Charley Alexander and stepdaughter of the late Floyd Hanes.

Lois was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and the Auxiliary of LaBaron Post 237, American Legion, both in Union City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Tujetsch, her son, Donald Tujetsch, her daughter, Barbara Tujetsch, a sister, Janet Williamson, and three brothers, Kenneth, Glenn and Donald Alexander.

Lois is survived by her loving sister, Joyce Ethridge of Union City, her beloved niece Carolyn Bryant-Devenney and her husband, George, of Harborcreek with whom she resided, her beloved niece, Jann Drayer-Volk, two grandchildren, and her sisters-in-law, Helen Alford, Martha Williamson and Ellie Tujetsch and Sally Alexander. She is further survived by three very close friends, Bea, Carole and Sarah Peters and by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the C. S. Warthman Funeral Home, Union City, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church, 9 Third Ave., Union City with Rev. F. Thomas Suppa officiating.

Burial will be at St. Teresa's Cemetery, Corry.
