Beverly Ann (Landry) Bedford-Bare, 58, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at her home. Beverly was born to Betty and Frank Landry on February 11, 1952, in Waltham, Massachusetts, and lived all over the world growing up as a US Air Force "Brat".
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chesley "Tommy" Bedford Jr., who was killed in the line of duty on October 8, 1979, in Capitan, NM, while working for the Sheriff's Department. She then married Stephen Bare on July 14, 1981, in Carlsbad.
Before becoming disabled she worked as a hairdresser for Landsun Homes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Bedford Jr.; and son, Tommy Bedford III.
Beverly is survived by husband, Stephen Bare, of the family home; son, Michael Bedford of Roswell, NM; daughters, Diane Brugman of Carlsbad and Stephanie Bare of Lubbock, TX; brothers: Steve Landry of Roswell, NM, and Tommy Landry of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Kathy McKnight of Hondo Valley, NM; and two grandchildren.
