Military graveside services for Marine Pfc. Cloyde C. Pinson, Jr., 20, of 3809 Kimball Ridge, who was killed in Vietnam action May 12, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Pfc. Pinson was fatally wounded by fragmentary shrapnel during action near Quang Tri. He had been a Marine since January 1966 and stationed in Vietnam since last August. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Pfc. Pinson had been a Dallas resident for six years.
He attended Boude Storey Junior High School and South Oak Cliff High School and was a member of Glendale Village Presbyterian Church.
Survivors: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyde C. Pinson; a sister, Miss Diane Brown of Dallas; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Powers of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pinson of Ironton, Ohio.
