The birthday anniversaries of GLEN and WAYNE WHIPPLE, aged 12 and 3, respectively, sons of MR. and MRS. F.P. WHIPPLE, 501 Avon street, were celebrated with a surprise party Tuesday evening when 12 boys assembled at their home with greetings and tokens. The evening was spent in games, after which ice cream and cake were served.

The Nature Study club met last evening at the home of Griswold Ruth, 431 Avon-st. Thomas Manwaring and WAYNE WHIPPLE read papers on "The Chipmunk" and at this time two new members were admitted.

Nature Study Club met last evening with WAYNE WHIPPLE at his home, 501 Avon-st. Papers on "The Beaver" were read by Robert Adams, June Albertson and Frank Manwaring, and a review of recent studies was held. The club met last Friday at the home of Lynne Adams, 507 Avon-st. and papers on "The Chipmunk" were read by Lynn Adams and Griswold Ruth.
