Ralph T. Jefferies

Retired from Musgrove

Ralph Talscoft Jefferies, 73, of 707 Littlejohn St., husband of Doris Jean Jefferies, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at 3:10 p.m. at his home.

Son of the late Earl Jefferies and the late Teddie Macomson Jefferies, he was a native of Cherokee County and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Musgrove.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Ralph Lemar Jefferies of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two daughters, Laverne R. Jefferies and Latanya R. Carpenter of Gaffney; two brothers, Henry Edward Jefferies of High Point, N.C., and Gary Washington of Texas; nine sisters, Annette Bosley of Houston, Texas, Loretta Smith of Texas, Zandy Faye Boyce, Sharon Mock, Janice Tillery, Zedda Washington, Inez Shelton, April Washington, Dorsina Washington, all of High Point.

Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Michael Golden and Tony Macompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 p.m. until until the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
