ROSSVILLE, GA - Laurence Eulice Hicks, 90, departed this life Tuesday, December 21, 2010.

He was born in Marion County, Tenn., to the late Adam and Nola Hicks. Laurence attended Old Bethel Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Ga.

He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Forces 72nd Bomber Squadron, and later retired from Koehering Southern.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Hicks, of Rossville; children, Faye Key, of Rossville, Alicea Ann Fredrick, of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, in the chapel with the Rev. Steve Camp officiating.

Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, and prior to the service Thursday.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
