While he and Georgia raised their family in Elyria,Ohio, upon his death, was brought back to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for burial. He died in 1963 and Georgia some 32 years later in 1995. He was laid to rest at Sunset View Memorial Gardens some 7 1/2 miles east of his childhood home at Columbia Furnace.
